The place to be during Christmas in NYC is in midtown Manhattan, at Rockefeller Center. It is located across from Radio City Music Hall, and is home to one of the most famous tree lightings in the USA. This center is just filled with so much Christmas joy. Every year, a committee finds the perfect tree that will put up and lit for the world to see, and after the Christmas holidays, they actually recycle the tree. It is beautifully decorated and is surrounded by wooden soldiers and angels in the center. Underneath the tree lies another ice skating rink, but beware because as beautiful as it is, it is very expensive and takes a while to actually get on the ice. It is truly the most beautiful part of Christmas in NYC, and it is completely necessary to visit Rockefeller Center when visiting.
